On Sunday (July 30, 2023), the Workshop: Chef Exchange, jointly organized by KLC Service – a member of the KLC Group ecosystem, along with Meizan and Sai Gon Tiep Thi newspaper, was held successfully.
During the interaction session, Chef Mai Phuoc Tan, the Kitchen Manager of the KLC Service Center, shared the recipes for two signature dishes from the Southwestern region of Vietnam: Mekong River Delta coconut salad with river shrimp, and snails steamed with basil and fermented rice. These dishes not only pay tribute to local ingredients but also showcase the essence of countryside culinary art from the Western region. Additionally, these two dishes are also part of the main menu for the upcoming floating restaurant project, “Mua Nuoc Noi,” which KLC Service plans to open in October this year.
The workshop went beyond cooking and provided food enthusiasts with an opportunity to learn and converse with an experienced chef. The stories and cooking tips shared by Chef Mai Phuoc Tan not only help improve culinary skills but also inspire and ignite a passion for cooking.
