Hence, the new “Mua nuoc noi” restaurant project was born, a place that encapsulates the essence, flavors, and identity of Mekong Delta cuisine, just as its name suggests!

Originating from a fervent love for Southern cuisine

The Mekong Delta, a region renowned for its distinctive culture and cuisine, where each dish and flavor carries a part of the soul and love of the people living by the rivers and canals. From this deep love, the “Floating Season” restaurant project officially emerged with the goal not only to revive the cuisine of the Mekong Delta but also to preserve and spread the unique cultural values of this land to both domestic and international guests.

Mr. Luong The Anh, CEO of KLC Service, shares, “With dedication and love for cuisine, we aim to create a bridge that brings Vietnamese cuisine worldwide. However, with a higher mission, we want to recreate age-old dishes that carry the historical essence of exploring the South, allowing customers to savor the special flavors and memorable experiences of the Mekong Delta.”

“Floating Season” is not just a restaurant; it is a story of the connection between people and the land they inhabit. It is an ongoing effort to recreate and narrate the story of this land to everyone, especially those who love cuisine and want to explore the unique culture of Vietnam.

In addition, the restaurant chain project has been invested up to USD 5 million to ensure that every aspect of the restaurant meets high standards of quality and customer experience. The chefs at the restaurant, with many years of experience, especially in Vietnamese cuisine, have a deep understanding and skillfully express the distinctive flavors of the region. This is how “Floating Season” elevates Mekong Delta cuisine to a new level, worthy of international recognition.

Bringing the “Floating Season” story closer to customers

Not stopping at the culinary space, the KLC Service team, with an even greater desire, aims to touch the hearts of customers with a special message conveyed through a film. This film, titled “Season of Dreams by the Water,” will be a vivid portrayal of life, culture, and cuisine in the Mekong Delta, conveying the stories and true emotions behind each dish.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuan, the project’s production director, shares, “The film crew has undergone meticulous preparation, including surveys and selecting scenes in An Giang, Can Tho, and Dong Thap provinces. The design team has built over 10 wooden boats, mobilizing numerous extras to recreate the bustling floating markets, hoping to provide the audiencewith a vivid and authentic picture of the Mekong Delta’s floating season.”

The film crew is scheduled to start shooting in early November in three provinces: An Giang, Can Tho, and Dong Thap. The film promises to be an artistic work sharing values beyond cuisine, creating the beautiful and unique cultural landscape of the Mekong Delta.

This November, the first “Floating Season” restaurant will officially open at 54 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. This will be a special opportunity to explore a cozy and culturally rich space, where customers can immerse themselves in the warmth and closeness of “Western” culture.
