At the 2024 Real Estate Market Forum: Identifying Challenges and Recovery Opportunities, STAREAL was honored to be one of the sponsoring units. “The Vietnam real estate market from late 2022 to early 2023 faced many difficulties, influenced by factors such as the pandemic, credit tightening policies, etc. However, according to the assessment of many experts, the market in 2024 will show signs of recovery,” said Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh at the 2024 real estate market forum.
The forum attracted the participation of high-level leaders, experts, leading real estate enterprises in Vietnam, and more than 50 media agencies. At the forum, speakers discussed and shared viewpoints on the real estate situation assessed the development potential of the 2024 market and stimulated capital inflows into real estate.
According to a report by the Ministry of Construction, the Vietnamese real estate market in 2023 experienced many fluctuations, with some challenges, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, high raw material prices, and tight credit policies. However, the market also recorded some positive signs, such as increased new product supply, improved market liquidity, and stabilized real estate prices.
Regarding the real estate market forecast for 2024, experts believe that the market is in the process of recovery, especially after the changes related to the Housing Law 2023 and the Real Estate Business Law 2023 were officially passed by the National Assembly at the end of November 2023. These are significant policy advancements, with many provisions positively impacting the market, investors, and customers.
