On March 21, 2024, KLC Commercial – a member of KLC Group operating in the Retail – Import & Export sector, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ESG Wings BV – an ESG consulting firm in the Netherlands.
The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the Vietnam – Netherlands Business Forum held in Ho Chi Minh City with the aim of promoting green growth and sustainable development. This was part of a series of activities in Vietnam by the Dutch economic and trade cooperation delegation.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Vu Duc Tuan – Deputy General Director of KLC Commercial and Ms. Hedda Sasburg – Managing Director of ESG Wings BV. The ceremony marked a strategic partnership between the two sides to promote the export of Vietnamese food and agricultural products to the European market.
With the desire to participate in the export of goods, especially food and agricultural products from Vietnam to the European market, KLC Commercial has chosen to cooperate with ESG Wings. This Dutch company has extensive expertise in providing consulting services to improve ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) capacity for businesses exporting to Europe.
According to Mr. Vu Duc Tuan, a representative of KLC Commercial, “The cooperation agreement with ESG Wings is an important step in the development strategy of KLC Commercial. With this cooperation, we believe that we will contribute to bringing Vietnamese food and agricultural products to the international market, affirming the position and brand of Vietnam on the global export map
The cooperation between KLC Commercial and ESG Wings aims to build and develop a transparent, responsible, and sustainable supply chain for Vietnamese food and agricultural products. By applying ESG standards, KLC Commercial will improve its competitiveness and meet the strict requirements of the European market.
ESG Wings will provide consulting services for the implementation of user-friendly and reliable digital applications to help KLC Commercial, farmers, cooperatives, distributors, and retailers practice ESG standards throughout the value chain, from farm to table. The application of technology will ensure transparency, traceability, and improve supply chain management efficiency.
ESG Wings sẽ tư vấn triển khai các ứng dụng số thân thiện và uy tín giúp KLC Commercial cùng các nông hộ, hợp tác xã, nhà phân phối, nhà bán lẻ thực hành tiêu chuẩn ESG xuyên suốt từ nông trại đến bàn ăn. Việc ứng dụng công nghệ sẽ đảm bảo tính minh bạch, truy xuất nguồn gốc và nâng cao hiệu quả quản lý chuỗi cung ứng.
